Coverity Integrity Center On-Site Support Services

There are three on-site support services package options available for the Coverity Integrity Center. The first is a set of basic services for the implementation of specific capabilities—architecture analysis, static analysis, build analysis, and dynamic analysis. In addition to software analysis implementation, the second package offers integration of Coverity capabilities into your software development life cycle. This can include development of defect management workflow processes and integration with existing systems such as a source code repository. Lastly, a comprehensive service package is available, which includes all product implementation and integration services as well as establishment of quality goals, and management of progress towards those goals.

SOFTWARE ANALYSIS IMPLEMENTATION

Static Analysis

This service is identical to the Coverity Static Analysis Rapid Implementation Service Package. Coverity develops and deploys a Coverity Software system architecture customized to your existing build environment. This class includes assistance with Coverity Static Analysis installation, set up, and configuration; implementation of Coverity Static Analysis within Customer’s existing build environment; and on site training for tool administrators and developers.

Architecture Analysis

The Coverity Architecture Analyzer training for C/C++/ Java class includes assistance with installation, set up, and configuration; implementation of Coverity Architecture Analyzer in the customer environment; and on site training for administrators and developers.
2 days on site.

Build Analysis

In the Build Analyzer Training for C/C++ class, your build engineers are shown how Coverity Integrity Center's build analysis feature provides visibility into builds and finds potential problems with the inputs, dependencies, and outputs of your C/C++ build on UNIX.
1 day on site class (maximum 15 students)

Dynamic Analysis

In the Dynamic Analyzer Training for Java class, your developers are shown how to reliably detect runtime concurrency and memory exhaustion errors using Coverity Integrity Center's dynamic analysis feature.
1 day on site class (maximum 15 students)

Extend

In the Coverity Extend for C/C++ training class, your developers will learn to write custom static analysis checks. In a hands-on session they will create new checkers that find the custom defects that are important to your organization.
2 days on site.

PROCESS INTEGRATION

Coverity Integrity Center Process Integration for C/C++ or Java includes all the above training classes for specific analysis capabilities, as well as automated assignment of defect ownership, development of the defect resolution workflow for Coverity detected defects, and integration of the defect resolution workflow within the your software development life cycle.

TEAM ADOPTION GUIDANCE

Coverity Integrity Center Team Adoption Guidance for C/C++ or Java includes all services provided in the Process Integration package and in addition provides automatic prioritization of detected defects, establishment of quality goals, creation of defect resolution timeline, and proactive management of progress towards quality goals.
